Dr Santosh Rai is the Founder and Chairman Cum Managing Director of  Sai Imaging. Santosh completed his Bachelor's degree from Nagpur university, India in 1987. He then did his masters degree from the same place in 1991. Santosh then joined the Apollo group of Hospitals in Madras, India, where he got trained in general radiology. In 1996 he went to Seychelles to set up the first MRI in the country. He then came to the UK in 1998 and has since worked in many hospitals as Consultant Radiologists. Currently he is working as the Director of Radiology at the University Hospital , Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Dr Santosh specialises in Musculoskeletal Imaging with wide cross sectional Imaging experience. He has a total of 17 years experience in Radiology with CT, MRI and ultrasound Imaging and General X-ray reporting.

Santosh has at least 10 researches and articles published in his name in leading radiology journals in the UK. He has done presentations in many national and international conferences.

Santosh is closely involved in the training of Radiographers towards the Diploma in Medical Ultrasound giving practical training in the subject. He is visiting lecturer at the University of Warwick. He also conducts coaching and mock tests to doctors preparing for FRCR.
